This item warms up quickly and has good controls. The only draw back I would say that if it is on a bed between a sheet or other blanket it has no grip and slides all over the place.

Staying warm this winter

This heated throwover is comfortable and warms up quickly on the higher settings. The timing function is also useful as it allows you to control how long it stays warm before switching off and is therefore good if you fall asleep when it is on. The only drawback I have found is if you use the throwover in a cold room it will not maintain its temperature and does have to be covered with another blanket to avoid heat loss. Read full review
