Best for the money
Excellent sound quality and ease of operation. Little tricky to set up on external router. Do not use the built in wireless! Too slow and often subject outside interference. But works like a charm with external wireless router. Wish it had more preset eqs but the sound quality is excellent. I used XR 16 for about 6 months then upgraded to XR18 because I needed the extra mic preamps and extra auxs. Bought a refurbished one from Altomusic and got a great deal and fast delivery. I don’t think this mixer can be beat for the money. Giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because the on board wireless is useless.Read full review

I replaced a whole rackmount case of gear with the XR18
The XR18 is a fantastic portable mixer. I've worked with the X32 in a stationary setting, and I love having the same tools and flexibility in a box I can easily take anywhere. I actually find the interface of the XEdit software more intuitive and easier to use than the physical interface on the X32. I wish you could save scenes in mixer memory (like the X32), rather than just on your tablet, phone or laptop, but this is a small drawback in an otherwise impressive centerpiece for a small portable sound system.Read full review

Everything you need in a small package
This compact unit rack mounted into a SKB studio flyer 4U with a ART power conditioner above it and a decent laptop for control makes an ideal easily portable mobile recording rig with 18 channel capability as well as a first class PA system with a couple of powered speakers. there is a learning curve that is significant for both the control app and the free Tracktion T6 that comes with it on registration but the effort is well worth the first class results.Read full review

18 channels of Hell yeah
After you get through the learning curve of the X-Air program, you simply apply that to 18 channels of fully controlled inputs with effects, eq's everywhere, 6 aux sends, and all mixed on my Lenovo yoga tab 3 tablet. Super Cool!
This thing is freaking sweet! I read all the reviews before I bought it and Once I had it I started watching the YouTube videos. Some of the reviews talk about the antenna being flimsy. I wouldn’t know. I hooked mine straight up to an outside wireless router and did not look back. I don’t expect I will ever use that piece.
The ability to split a single input into multiple inputs is sweet as well.
And the software is huge as well. I have never had so much control.
