It skims the surface

Not the easiest to fix securely in place, but I have ovalised bars for pool frame and needed a small block of wood to secure it firm and level.
Once fixed it skims well and water surface is much clearer than before.
It's a little bulky and can be knocked when the kids play, but it's easy enough to remove with a clip (without having to undo the clamp that I spent ages fine tuning).

When I first put it in the pool I thought how is this going to work, I was very skeptical. Do not be fooled - skimmer box may look a little on the light duty side, buy after four years of hard work ours only broke because a family member jumped on it! Good gear.

Great Leaf Catcher for above ground pools.

Does a great job of keeping the leaves from sinking to the bottom of the pool, my only issue is the hose is a little weak on them and not simple to find a replacement, so 4 stars and not 5 for that reason only. Surface skimmer

This is an excellent addition to a pool without a fixed skimmer box. The unit is adjustable for various pools and the inner ring floats to allow for changes in water surface levels.
