I'd tried the plastic owls before for pigeons which used to cause problems on a roof but they did not work. The reason was the plastic owls don't move and after a while the birds notice this and then figure out they are no threat. So when I read about this flying owl which moves from the wind we tried it. We had a problem with a flock of pigeons in a tree by our home, tons of bird poop on our cars. So I mounted this owl on a pole about 10 feet high next to the tree in plain view of the birds. Bird of broke

When I first got it I was excited and it worked great. After 4 months of wind and sun it fell apart and turned blue. The plastic wing spanners broke so I repaired it with same size metal and gorilla tape. Then it broke in another area. The spanners are made of cheap plastic that dry tots and breaks. Then the wings just flop down. The head works great though. I’m going to disassemble again and do another repair. Or just design my own with better materials. To put in one word.... Did NOT keep rabbits or birds away

My yard is filled with rabbits and I purchased this to keep them away also dove pooping on my steps. I have found birds and rabbits right under the owl, it did t even phase them

A clean boat this summer!

We're going to use the articulated BirdX Prowler Owl to keep all the birds from covering the boat in excrement this summer. In the past we had a plastic hawk, which worked to a certain extent, but which the birds got used to. The Prowler Owl's wings move and will be far more effective.
