Considerable improvement, low cost.

Pretty easy to use, and my soft top is blacker and the minor worn or faded patches have blended in. The major worn patches are improved. The area at the front edge above the windscreen, which was very light gray, is now perfectly blended in with the rest of the top. I'm not totally thrilled, because I wanted flat uniform jet black, but I think that may not be possible in the real world! I've tried Renovo before, this product is better.Read full review

Good coverage and good result

500ml is just about enough to cover a Saab 9-3 convertible roof twice. The result isn't perfect, but it's a huge improvement on the original condition, and probably as good as one is likely to get without replacing the hood.

This product is noticeably thicker than others I have tried in the past, making it easier to get a good finish

Canvas hood restorer

Would recommend painting on a sunny day. For best depth soaking of fabric the first coat can be thinned 25 percent with tap water. For best results after drying properly, at least 4 hours in the sun or next day apply the second coat. Also managed to apply undiluted dye strait from the bottle to matt sun bleached plastic panels under windscreen with no streaking once dry. Restoration of these plastic parts looks like original. Canvas soaks the paint up really quickly so I brushed on quite quickly always keeping a wet edge. Considering my mx5 is 10yrs old I'm amazed how good it looks with this stuff on.
