Assembly NON-Intuitive/Instructions NOT Helpful

The assembly is NON-Intuitive, and the instructions NOT very helpful.

Some assembly steps require a contortionist.

See 1st Picture, showing use of hammer to secure lock pin (G).

The pin itself is larger than the hole into which it is emplaced.

To work, it must be crimped at the end to get it started.

You CANNOT secure the pin as pictured, but must place in on top of a small block of wood, and CAREFULLY drive it in with a hammer. Any mis-step can cause breakage of the plastic pieces.

This step took the longest time, and numerous attempts before even figuring out how to do it.

Picture 2 shows mounting of the side blocks.

Again, the instructions are neither clear nor intuitive.

I had to use my other similar workbench to figure it out ... otherwise it would have taken much longer.

Having said all that, the bench itself is handy for small jobs, and easily transportable.

But don't expect it to be assembled easily.

Workmate 125

This lighter weight version of the Workmate will handle most homeowner needs but will not take daily contracter use and abuse.
The instructions left parts of the assembly to the imagination and mechanical experience of the assembler. They could be better and patience is required. I like this one for my garage but have two older, heavy duty versions for more demanding tasks.
