Absolutely Fantastic Microphone

Very well made microphone, extremely high quality. I wouldn't say it is light as it's fairly large but wouldn't say it was heavy either. Is very sturdy and something I'm not afraid of it falling apart if I move it around a lot. Was much larger than I anticipated but that's not a bad thing at all. I like things that are substantial. Sound quality is out of this world compared to the built-in computer mic or other microphones I've tried. It's like night and day compared to everything else. Picks up from a good distance and I haven't noticed any background noise to speak of really. It picks up what it's supposed to pick up. Very easy to use, just plug and play, no setup at all required with Windows 10. Haven't used it with any other OS so can't speak for anything but that. I am very happy with the purchase and am very impressed. Trust me, it takes a whole lot to impress me and this microphone has done that and then some. Excellent Mic!

I bought this Mic to do voice recordings for an audio book. The Mic is easy to use, plug n play. It also has excellent voice quality. I barely have to do anything to tweak my voice in post production. It is also VERY sensitive. I was recording in the back of my house, using headphones, and I could hear people talking. There was no one else in the house and all the windows were closed. I found out that there was 2 people in the FRONT of my house talking! The Mic picked it up. Good sound and easy to use but not lite weight; quality made! Great microphone with Premium sound for Starters

The Blue Yeti USB Microphone product has an excellent sound quality. Is not the best in the market, but it sure is an excellent product for it's price. It is a little expensive (if you are running on budget), but you won't regret getting it. The microphone is huge! Is not an ordinary or small microphone. So, you better keep in mind that you need space for it. It is also a heavyweight microphone, but you shouldn't worry about that because it comes with it's very own stand as you may see in the picture. It has four functions for different recording scenarios, which is an excellent feature! If you have a headset, you can plug it directly to the microphone and you may hear yourself exactly how your voice it's been recorded with no delay (this is a plus!). It also comes in a few different colors so it might match your decoration and needs.

Cons
When it comes to buying accessories, everything has to be big (huge). For example: you can buy a regular foam windscreen on ebay for about $1-3, but when it comes to fit the Blue Yeti, it will cost you no less than $9.99 in the best case scenario. At amazon you could find it for around $24. There's only one shock mount for the Blue Yeti and it costs over $45 (this is not really needed, but it is still one of the accessories most people use with these types of microphones).

Therefore, the Blue Yeti it's definitively worth it. You will get what you paid for, which is professional sound quality microphone. Please note that if you don't have any noise where you'll be using the microphone, you don't need any windscreen. However, if there's any noise (small noises are captured through the microphone if it doesn't have a foam windscreen or a pop filter) you WILL WANT to consider buying yourself a foam windscreen or a pop filter when ordering this product.

Overall, I think is a GREAT microphone for it's price and I totally recommend it. It's very user-friendly! Just plug it in and start recording!Read full review
