I got what I wanted

Some may say there is a bit too much base in these speakers. You notice it at times where you don't need so much, but it is really nice when you want it. I really wanted a speaker/dock with a lightning connector so I could turn my older iPhone into an iPod without having to worry about it losing battery power every day. For the small size, it is easy to move from room to room although, the sound is good enough I can hear it pretty well wherever I am in the house. This unit has great sound clarity, bass tones and volume. It is ready to use out of the box.
The actual dock will only work with an ipod/iphone that utilizes the 8 pin "lightning" connector. It will not work with an older 30 pin ipod unless you purchase a third party adapter which will only charge the ipod and you will have to run a cable to the aux input jack.Read full review
