Good clear outlined marks, for the correct temperatures to be achieved in either the fridge or the freezer compartments, depending on which one the thermometer is placed in.

Good quality stainless steel construction and can be used free standing or via the hook on top.

High accuracy of temperature in both compartments. Set your fridge/freezer so as to align the red needle within the marks outlined in black. To check this you will need to test for about an hour or so with the door on each item closed and adjust your appliances thermostat accordingly should they not fall within the black range on the thermometer. An accurate and sturdy piece of kit!

This seems to be accurate. I've taken the temperature of my failing fridge freezer (10 degrees in the fridge and -10 in the freezer!), as well as my perfectly functioning slimline chest freezer (-32 when on the maximum setting!). When placed on my desk in a centrally heated room, the thermometer says 22 degrees, which seems spot on - that's my own comfortable room temperature.
