Cutter heads wear out - REPLACE IT!
Scored the Braun Series 7 for $35 at a local auction. Not bad but not a great shave that you would expect from a razor with MSRP over $200. Finally replaced the screen and cutterhead for $30 on Ebay and now my shaves are first rate. Sometimes I use shaving soap and a wet shave other times I use Remington powder and that seems to give the best shave.Read full review

Back to a very smooth shave
Braun makes a very nice shaver. My foil finally needed replaced after almost 3 years. My first shave after replacing the foil made my face feel so smooth. I definitely waited too long before replacing the foil, but I wanted to save money by stretching the use out. Never again. For what these cost to replace, I will spoil myself going forward. This head is apparently made by some method other than the method that was used before.
I have used the razor for a number of years and have replaced it once with a new one. I have always gotten at least a year of use from each new head, but the last two heads I have received have given poor service from the start and have had to be replaced after about three months of use. I think Braun has changed the design, manufacturing procedure, or something else. I still like the shaver, but I will be unable to recommend it until Braun fixes the shaver head life and quality.Read full review

I was so excited to find these Braun Series 7 replacement heads for my Series 7 shavers. I and my 2 sons have this shaver. It really gives a close shave and doesn't irritate the skin, even on those hard to shave areas. I like that the replacement head comes with blades and new foil.
