Far better quality if made in Germany.
It is made in Germany and the quality of the metal and the precision is far better than ones made in China.
It also uses less plastic as part of it. Chinese made ones do not last as long.

this is my third Braun razor. It will be my last. Replaced the shaving head after 6 months hoping the new one would be better. Also bought a spare.
Does not shave close without a lot of pulling the skin tight.
The shaving heads on prior shavers lasted the full time that was specified.
The cleaning system works very weill. Good battery life for traveling.
