Slow print speed

It takes 10 seconds or more before the first page prints and then about the same amount of time between each page. I have not found anything in the software to address that issue.There is no way this printer will print the amount of pages advertised on the box with this issue. Frustrated with this printer to say the least. I am not about to throw away a perfectly good printer in spite of its shortcomings. My daughter uses this as a workhorse printer in college

My review is transaction-specific as it related to a used printer with a page count of less than 200. That being said, it was meticulously packed and wrapped. There was no manual (I was not expecting one), but it was easy to set up nonetheless over a USB connection running Windows 10. It was purchased for my daughter in college, who is now using it as a workhorse, especially when she needs to print out entire chapters. Print quality looks to be excellent. I'm frankly thinking of finding another one to replace a color inkjet printer I now have in my office. Regarding consumables, it is somewhat of a disadvantage that the toner and fuser cartridges are separate; however, it is possible to purchase both inexpensively from generic-branded suppliers, so that more than mitigates the concern. not easy to set up but after it runs great

instructions should advise you to go to the Brother web site to help with set up if you are not using a cable for set up. after set up prints fine.
