Unfortunately we were sent the wrong lead- not suitable for use in Britain even though sent to a British address. I have had to borrow an adaptor for the time being.
Apart from that,very good value for money.It came quickly and works well. Neat stitches.
However, some parts of the manual are not as clear as they could be( but the diagrams are good). A couple of the letters are on the slant when the others are not, which is a bit of a shame.

OK for a first machine.

I haven't sewn before, but found this machine easy to use, with help from the manual and YouTube. It's not a heavy duty machine at all though. It balks stitching a seam in Levi's. It would be nice if you could adjust the foot pressure. Almost everything is plastic, and I expect that broken parts will be reason I buy my next machine.
The monogramming abilities are more of a gimmick than anything else. The quality of the text isn't very good, and the characters are a fixed size. Read full review
