Has Printed "Picture Perfectly" EVERY TIME

This "set" (drum and cartridge) was a quite reasonable price and performs beautifully. I have done many copies. Each was "picture perfect". It solved my previous print problems COMPLETELY !!

Open box Brother drum unit

This item was listed as open box, new. When it showed up, the box was torn on the top flaps and taped back. The box looked aged and old. The appearance of the box shouldn’t affect the unit, but the plastic housing of the drum unit on the side was broken and split a little bit. I pushed the broken part back in place and the drum unit went into the printer without obstructions. It works fine but the print quality is is not great like the original OEM drum unit or an after market one I replaced it with. The non-printed area is not white on the printed sheet as it should be. It has a faint gray color to it. I tried and paired it with a brand new toner cartridge but the results were the same. I suspect this drum unit is not brand new as it was listed. This genuine Brother drum unit is ready to roll out of the box.

Genuine Brother Drum

After having tried the compatible drum unit I purchased, I realized that I should have purchased a genuine Brother drum unit. The compatibles do not work as well as the genuine ones.

Again staying with the manufacturer "Brother" brand is worth the few extra dollars

Replacement went like it should...found that some replacement models, while fitting OK did not perform well at all...lot of retries and wasted paper.

fixed my printing issues

near the end of my last cartridge my papers came out with sort of a gray haze look to them. The drum was my problem. added the new drum and new cartridge and now crisp and clean print outs.
