Didn't even make it 2 years.

I bought this in 2021 and here we are 2 years later and it croaked. I don't do heavy printing and it seems most printers die within 2 years but I had hoped this one would make it at least 3. Really disappointed. Not the seller's fault, just the typical garbage of technology we are forced to deal with and live with these days. No one makes quality items anymore; nothing is built to last. I like Brother Printers, for now. . .

I'm not sure about brother printers anymore. I feel like the quality is going downhill. The prices however, keep going up. I know the goal is to get you to buy more ink, but then, the ink, or the printer should be more affordable. Anyway, the printer prints and does it well, if you only use their ink, which they are demanding of us more and more. I think they are finding ways to brick the printers with non oem ink. The only thing it is missing is a direct cable to my computer. Overall has worked well except when there is no internet.
