Easy and fast

Just have done generic labels so far, have not gotten into the more complicated things. Very easy: pop in the cartridge, type and press print. Best to type several labels you need at one time so you do not waste the tape. Very easy to apply label as the backing is split in the middle for easy removal.Read full review

Not that easy

Previously I had a simpler model Brother label maker and it was a lot easier to use. The instructions for this model are not very clear. I just want to be able to make simple labels.

Good machine but hard to use

The printer produces a good print....BUT... it is not easy to use. The instructions are written for someone who knows how to use the printer. Even the YouTube videos are confusing.

A versatile, superior product

This unit replaces an older one which wouldn't power up one day. They have added a few more features making it slightly more complicated to operate. The additional features don't bring me any value. I wish the case color had not been changed to white because it will be harder to keep clean. The printing mechanism is superior to any other available, and the amazing array of media types offered are commendable. I've had one of these long enough I'd call it a necessity. It runs on batteries and the cost of supplies is reasonable. I do recommend this machine, and this is my 3rd one since introduced to them.Read full review

Great labeller with many options.

I had an older version that i used consantly (until it couldnt take it anymore). This one took the same tapes and has a lot more options. More fonts(14), more symbols(400+), more frames(99). Great labeller at a great price.Read full review

Nice little labeler.

I received this the day after I ordered it. I ordered it late Sunday! So that's pretty awesome. The lable maker is easy to use and makes nice labels. Two things you should know. (1) it requires 6 AAA batteries or a power adapter and neither are included.
(2) It comes with a label cartridge but it's a sample cartridge so you're going to need a new one soon if you're doing much labeling.

Brother Ptouch label maker

I bought this to make outside labels for plants, the label maker worked great, easy to set up and easy to use.
I bought the optional power cord adapter, needs a lot of batteries if you don't
