Even after reading all the other reviews I was really impressed with the number of screws, nuts and washers in the bottom of the box.

I bought this printer, despite the reviews, because this is my 8th 3D printer purchase. I am not afraid of taking them apart and putting them back together.

But WOW! There was a good handful of screws, nuts and washers in the bottom of the box.
I spent an hour just putting the thing back together. The one thing to keep in mind is that this machine will try to loosen all those same screws while printing as well. Go get some Locktite! or stop nuts.

I was also prepared for the lack of a filament cooling fan and had the plug and fan ready to go. It really is almost criminal of these manufacturers not to include one. I use a 3D printed duct from thingiverse and it makes a world of difference in print quality.

I will be replacing the print bed as well. A MagHold print bed is worth every penny.

I was a bit disappointed that they only sent half a spool of PLA but at this price point it makes sense.

One word of advice for newbies - Never push down on the extruder heads. Eventually you will cause the bars they slide on to sag and this causes bed leveling issues.Read full review...

Great starter printer

This isnt a bad machine at all. I had to redo a couple loose screws like everyone else and then adjust my left extruder down some to get dual working correctly but all in all it's a good little machine.

The heated bed is nice. It stays fairly level, I can do about 5 or 6 prints before it needs to be leveled again.

3 key pieces that nicer printers have are sides, an internal layer fan for PLA and autoleveling bed.

You can buy sides kit but I just went to a hardware store and bought a small sheet of plexiglass, some cheap hindges and using a bandsaw made my own doors and side walls. I would recommend this to a beginner who wants to make a few simple objects and goof around some. Obviously you'll need to upgrade some pieces to do any kind of nicer production pieces.Read full review...

It is a lot easier if you are familiar with 3D printing systems and have used a 3D printer before. Instructions are not the best. Biggest issue I had was that the SD card with the manual/setup instructions was not readable. I downloaded a copy from the internet and that worked fine. Product works and prints well but support software is awful

The software CD failed to load no matter what I tried. had a difficult time trying to get software to run it and still unable to get it to print from an SD card. has to be connected via USB cord.

Awesome bang for the buck!

Requires basic understanding of 3D printing to set up properly and use to its full potential. But it is a great printer for the money and I have been impressed with it so far.
