I bought a Canon EOS M3 and purchased this adapter so I could use my Canon EF lens that I already had for my D5 MKII. So far I have had very good results with the EF 50mm F1.4 and the EF 16-35 F2.8 lenses. Metering and focus work as well as they did with the EF-M 22mm F2 lens made for the camera.
