Creamy Goodness!

I bought this Creamback to replace a Scumback in a 1 x 12 cabinet. To my ears, this speaker is perfect for the Ethos Overdrive amp I am using: A fatter sound with less treble. I'm looking forward to hearing it with my Friedman Runt next. Also, Guitar Speaker Store was extremely helpful with a shipping snafu that occurred. I will be back! Read full review

Tone, Tone, Tone for all Genre's of music.

This is the best speaker I ever owned or purchased for a 1-12" guitar combo amp 8 ohm. I put it in a Fender Tonemaster deluxe reverb to replace the stock 12" Neo Jensen which had too much mid-range response and glassy highs. The amp came to life and has the perfect musical response for guitar and it is not even broken in yet!Read full review

Warm bass notes but has enough treble punch

I have the 8ohm G12M-65 and my cabinet is not a small 12" cabinet so I was worried the open back would be too boomy but its great sounding.

No harsh biting notes but awesome tone with singing highs that are awesome compared with the duller sounding V30 I have.
The V30 is all Midrange with little sparkle with my tube amps except the Laney VC 30 tube amp which is vox brite and authentic sounding .
The G12M-65 excels in all content it seems . You may cut you bass down due too its has great bottom end too !

This G12M has no gritty sound as some Brittish sounding speakers have but a clear sound and tube breakup is completely natural sounding similar to my Eminence Ledgend 1258 does but the G12M has more bottom and no over bright highs !!!!
The highs are out front when you play lead on higher strings but not harsh !

I did add a touch of treble and cut the bass some on my EQ , just awesome with the Rebel 20 and Rebel 30 amp heads !

Great speaker

I have used Celestions for many years and this one sounds very good right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Great Choice Furr a Blues Deluxe

Great response and frequency spectrum. Low is full and round and the highs are smooth and ring like a bell. Sounds great clean and really shines when you add some OD. Handles high gain really well without getting muddy too. Read full review

Big bottom end

If you have a 50 or 100 watt tube head but because of space you can only use 1 speaker, this is the best ...

Good thick fat sounding frequency response

I have a few of these Creambacks, and a few of the Greenback Heritage and A few of the Celestion Alnicos. These Creambacks blend together very nicely With the greenbacks and Alnicos, fills in the bottom end for a fatter and fuller sound👍👍Read full review
