Awesome clubs
I have come back to Cleveland clubs. I liked my Cleveland's in the past, even my VAS's. But I changed(please don't ask why). I played Adams most recently and Tom Wishon custom before that. Nothing wrong with either. But I just have to say, these 588's are not only beautiful clubs, but they play incredibly well. In fact, I had to club down one because they just simply go that much further. The ball jumps off the face. And goes where I aim. I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to 'distance' claims, but these hybrid/irons really are longer that what I'm used to getting. I guess as a summary, the 588's are a nice looking club. But more importantly they have great feel, they are solid, they are accurate, and I am getting at least 10 more yards all the way through the set.
Just as an additional note, I went Cleveland completely from driver to sand wedge. I went with the Cleveland Black driver and 3 wood, and no lie, I am hitting the driver 20-25 yards longer(I'm 63 years old by the way). It is so light you can't help but swing the club faster. The 3 goes further as well. I'm hitting the 588's from from places I haven't hit from in years. And by that I mean, closer to the green. I will never leave Cleveland again. If you are thinking new clubs, I hope this helps. Good luck.Read full review

Really improved my iron play!
I was playing with Callaway Apex irons, but I finally had to admit, I'm just not that good! Found the MTs for a really good price - huge difference in my iron play! Much easier to hit. The set did not arrive with the hybrid-like four and five iron that I was expecting, but rather normal MT irons. They really look great. You don't have to have the latest and greatest clubs to play well!Read full review

Great Irons
Solid feel with good feedback on all hits. Very forgiving and with the graphite shafts very easy on the body. Would recommend for mid to lower handicap and will be game improvement. Unlike many irons, the 4 and 5 are as easy to hit as the 8,9 irons. Distance is above average for solid hits and better than average for off center hits. A good set or irons for many golfers.Read full review

Nice Deal- shared opportunity with a few friends...
hard to go wrong, considering these were Gold Medal winners on the Golf Digest Hot List two years ago.
Clubs are new but I had to have lie adjusted on 6 of them. Couple were 2 degrees off of standard.
Probably a good idea with any set, however.
Had to pay $5 per club to have them bent. Upside is I have a new custom fit set of clubs from a quality manufacturer for under $300.Read full review

Great clubs ----Easy to hit
They are about 3 to 5 yards shorter than my regular irons but much easier to hit. I solved that problem by using more club in that situation. I am very happy with the irons.
