TV show/movie's from the 1970's & 80's. Total eBay's price (T&S) ~$25 to $30. There are enough episodes that it will take us years to view them all.

This was a gift for my dad. He's really enjoying it and having the whole series together is very convenient. The most engaging American TV detective!

The Columbo series is definitely the very best of all the 70s television detective shows. It does not have the "realism" of today's dramas, none of the gore or in your face violence, it features stars of the era as crafty murderers, who commit what they believe is the perfect crime, but, Lt Columbo gets them every time, wears them down, with his iconic, "Just one more thing..."

I only watched 3 episodes so far. The quality is HD LIKE in my opinion. My dvd player is an hd upgrader but these look as clear as any dvd I've played. They converted the old box format to fill in a 16:9 widescreen. That does widen the images somewhat but still looks pretty good. This series also includes the 2 premiers which is great. So far I love it. If you are a columbo fan I think you would be very pleased.Read full review

To say that we old folks are stuck in the past is somewhat misleading. The "past" isn't something we are stuck in; its something we remember fondly and long for. Now in our seventies, my wife and I find ourselves uninspired by the type of tv drama available these days. Not only do we get lost in current crime drama, but we can find no reason why anyone above the age of 12 would watch a show about a comic book character. So, here we have "Columbo" available on Ebay. We jumped at the chance to watch all of the episodes that we loved when we were first married. It had always been a favorite of ours, and now we are reliving it, one episode at a time. Peter Falk's award winning portrayal of a bungling, yet savvy police lieutenant is truly one of the best performances you could hope for. After just a few minutes watching him you will admire his technique, and you will be in awe of his character development as you watch more episodes. The Columbo series was artfully crafted to keep the viewer on the edge of his or her collective seat, as perfect murder after perfect murder is carefully and systematically solved by one of the best tv characters in the history of television. So happy to find this collection at such a great price. Have loved Columbo since I was a kid. Even subscribed to Netflix just to watch Columbo and cancelled my subscription when they removed it! Columbo is my favorite tv detective, he is awesome. Peter Faulk is one of my favorite actors, from his psycho character in " murder Inc" ( if you have not seen this movie I highly recommend it) to Columbo to " Murder by the Book" where he shows his comedic talent, to the Twilight zone episode the" Mirror" Peter Faulk is one of the best acting talents of are times in my opinion, and Columbo is my favorite .I highly recommend this set.R.I.P.
