Easy, convenient access to drink either cold or hot liquids by the touch of a button, very difficult to spill while drinking or when placed aside. Great size at 20oz and keeps water cold, I left the container with ice and water in my car in the sun at 80 degrees (so, much hotter in the car), while I did various tasks for 3-4 hours, came back and the ice cubes had not melted. I intend to use this solely for water, I purchased a 16oz for morning coffee with creamer, to eliminate the coffee odor blending into my water taste. Easy to clean with the mechanism in the lid. 100% Leak-proof Lid

This mug is superior to any travel mug I've owned/used in the past. Some travel mugs say they are leak-proof, but this one is leak-proof with out a doubt! Seriously, you can flip this thing upside down when it is filled all the way to the top and not a drop leaks out. The auto seal feature is superior to any other technology out there. This travel mug is great for hot and cold drinks, and thanks to the autoseal feature, your drinks stay hot and cold for much longer than with any other travel mug. The Best Flask for Drivers

I have been through many of these from different manufacturers. This one outshines the others.

Firstly, despite the statement on the base, it is dishwasher safe if you buy the stainless version. It is the coloured ones that are not dishwasher safe. They have a generic not dishwasher safe stamp on the base and this fact is hidden in the leaflet and web site. The lid is also dishwasher safe.

Second essential feature... It keeps drinks hot or cold. Better than most.

Thirdly, there is no plastic taint flavour after the lid has been through the dishwasher a couple of times.

Fourthly, It does not leak.

Fifth and unique feature is it doesn't spill. The flask auto locks when you put it down. Most flasks have a switch or flap you have to manually fiddle with.

Sixthly... One handed operation. Essential for drivers.

Seventh... The large model is a good size so you can last longer. I had the smaller version before and really appreciate the extra capacity

Eighth... It's about the same diameter as a tin of drink, so it fits in most cup holders.

Ninth... There is a lock feature. Why as this is an auto lock flask? Because you can pop this in your laptop bag and so some pointy thing from releasing the liquid accidentally. The lock is also suitable for one handed operation in the car.

Tenth.. The cap design allows for orientation of the flask without taking your eyes off the road. Never miss your mouth again. The release button naturally falls on your index or middle finger by touch and once you have this, the drinking point is on the opposite side.

This flask is a major contribution to road safety and driver comfort. It also makes sure you taste your drink, not horrible plastics or other nasties.

10/10 and worth every penny of the extra.

Absolutely the best

This is my third one, and I love it. The first was dropped on concrete and the bottom broke off. The second was lost. I absolutely had to have it again! Keeps coffee hot 7am - noon, no problem, and often far longer. Easy to clean, good looking, too. The only issue with this cup is that it is too tall for a Keurig-style coffee maker. The Only Way To Go

Yes, Contigo costs more. But if I make some coffee at night, it's next to my bed in the morning and still hot, or at least very, very, very warm, perfect for the morning. Works like a real thermos: two layers with a vacuum between them so heat (inside or outside) is prevented from radiating from inside to out or vice-versa. I've put 3 ice cubes in a cold drink in this one at night, and 10 hours later it's not just still cold, the ice cubes are still frozen. This is my 5th Contigo! I’ve bought them for family & friends, because they’re awesome!
They really do keep drinks “hot” & cold!

I really like this coffee thermos; I have a purple one as well, but if i have one negative comment to make it would be that the stainless stell is so smooth that I have trouble gripping it to open thermos to fill, but I have weak wrists and hands from arthritis, so it's probably just me, although I do not have a problem
