Sweet Mother of Bike Tires
I've been using these on the streets of NYC for the last 5 years. They are rugged, smooth and prevent flats when rolling over cut glass. Of course, you should avoid doing that, because you can still get a flat, but these stand up to the usual beating of city streets. Highly recommend you spend the extra money and get a couple of these, then take them to the local bike shop and have them put them on for only the cost of labor. Online you an buy a pair for $60-$70 whereas that would be the prince for only one in the bike shop.Read full review

Flat resistant, but not flat proof
Definitely a good, robust training tire. I like the idea that they are somewhat resistant to punctures, but I did the Palm Springs Century on these and got 7 flats. Granted, these were all a result of small cactus prickers that I picked up along the road, but a flat is a flat. Who knows maybe I would have had more flats with another tire. Still a good tire for a decent price.Read full review

Exact Size is 24.2MM
Bike was an 8 year old racing carbon Lemond. Frame was intended for 23mm tires. The actual width measurement on our rim measured approximately 24.2mm. This is a good thing. This is a good all around tire. I have been using Gatorskin tires for several years. A fairly fast tire with a little flat protection. Well engineered, and the quality is first class.Read full review

So far the Gatorskins have been really good for me.
Previously I'd been using the Armadillo tires. They've been good through the years in greatly reducing punctures. These Gatorskins were less expensive and so far have been great with no punctures or problems. So far they have been really good.
Was a little concerned about using a folded tire for the first time, but no problems with that.Read full review

Continental is the best!
I have such good wear and use with continental tires that they are the only ones I will buy. This purchase was no exception. I received a very high quality tire at a great price. I am very happy and highly recommend. A+Read full review

Good Quality Tires; pretty puncture-proof
Tire weight is acceptable for general road use. Respond well.
Have had decent tread wear when regularly rotating the set.
Historically, when using alone, very low number of punctures.
(small wire/staple had penetrated to the tube on a couple of instances)
After adding puncture liners, have had no flats since then.

Great Road Bike Tires For Long Life, Less Flats
Great heavier duty tires for my road bike... Replacing a pair of expensive road race tires that got too many flats and one eventually had cord separation. These ride a tad harder too, so I run 10 PSI less, but NO flats or problems to date! Very Happy!Read full review

The name is correct, Gatorskin puncture resistant
These are truly puncture resistant tires. They are not fast. Not racing tires at all because of their wear. But you can put 4K miles on them! I live in an area that creates many flats. These will flat rarely. Other tires flat occasionally here.Read full review

Gatorskin Tires (foldable) by Continental
These have been my standard rubber on 2 road bikes. Very well satisfied with their performance and technical features. Good value because this was the lowest price I could find.

Reliable!
Super reliable to not flat. It’s all I ride on my road bike. I like the tread wear indicator feature on them now. It’s a new feature since the last pair I installed.
These were tight to fit on my Forte Titan rims but I did get them on. One required tire lever assistance, I was able to get the other one on by hand and with patience.Read full review
