Great value to performance.
MX500 is an older drive model, but still works great and is still fast with an excellent value to performance ratio. If you want a cheap upgrade for gaming or storage the MX500 is a good choice. This is especially true for older laptops with an HDD. Read full review

Very happy that I installed this drive as now my old computer feels like a new computer.
Very happy with this ssd. I'm a non-tech and found it easy to clone my old drive over to this drive using their software. And following their online instructions, found it easy to open my machine and swap the drives.
The whole process was smooth sailing with no glitches.

Crucial MX500 SSD - Excellent
The hdd on my laptop was giving trouble. Repeatedly reporting errors . Fixed all errors then used the Acronic Disk clone software that is free to download with this ssd to clone my hdd to the ssd. I then installed the ssd in place of the hdd and it booted right away and is extremely fast. I would recommend this upgrade to anyone that wants to replace a hdd or wants to speed up their computer.Read full review

Nice and small
The connectors fit perfectly and, using a SATA USB connector when cloned with Acronis it was a simple matter of unplugging the mechanical hard drive and plugging this unit onto the existing plugs. Subsequently the computer is now operating faultlessly and quite quickly. No longer are there the pauses experienced with the old drive during scrolling through various programs.
