30 Day review of Cuisinart 4 slice toaster
After having this toaster for a full month I would buy it again. It has a small issue with bagels but overall it has worked very well.
On the benefit side this unit has even heating and a wide temperature scale.
The openings are wide enough and long enough to fit bread from both of my bread machines.
Some of the epicurean specialty breads do not fit, length wise, but if those bread slices are so large that I only eat half at a time.
The defrost feature works well for frozen french toast and waffles.
The only detractor is the bagel feature does not completely turn off the outer element. The outside elements do decrease heat but still make the outside of the bagel too hot to touch.Read full review

Ok But Not Great
No indicator light to tell you if the thing is even on. Slots are not wide enough for bagel store bagels or sliced rolls, nor are they deep enough so tops don't get toasted.

Finally a toaster that works!
We've purchased many toasters over the years and while some were better than others, they all had faults. This toaster not only looks great (we now need a new coffee maker to match) but is the best toaster we've ever owned. It toasts evenly every time with easy access to the toast. The controls are easy to use and have a feeling of quality for such an inexpensive toaster. I don't usually write reviews, but felt it was necessary this time as we are very pleased.Read full review

Durable toaster
Purchased the toaster for our department's office kitchen. The toaster is used heavily, but is proven to be durable and the crumb trays easy to remove and clean.
The toaster can toast bagels, but not really long pieces of bread.
The quality of the toast is good. At the highest setting, the toast comes out well done. My own preferences, are about 5-6 setting.

Attractive toaster but appears to be cheaply made. The heating elements are not taunt and seem to wiggle. The levers seem uneven and it takes several times to get it to stick to the bottom. It's OK but I wouldn't purchase it again.Read full review
