DEWALT DC9096 18V XRP Battery Pack

These prices have given my old tools an extended life.

They probably deserve 5 stars, (sorry guys) but It's awkward reviewing batteries, because I have just purchased them. Delivery, packaging... Everything was great, 5/5 Thank you. The real test is how long they last, but so far so good. Ask me again in a year and if they are still working then it should have been 5/5.
But! With the very high price of genuine dewalt ones, and the cheapness for these generics, I would probably have thrown the saw and drill away and swaped to another brand as they are older tools anyway. So thanks guys and keep happy. CheersRead full review

Dissapointed

I purchased 2 Dewalt batteries on the 9th June 2019 and everything was fine until after a couple of months 1 battery would not hold its charge longer than a couple of hours work.
I reported this to the supplier and got a response of:

Fast service but poor product

Item came quickly which was great but I was so disappointed when the batteries were fully charged and put to work. Battery was used in a small portable grinder and they would only last for at most 2 to 3 cuts (only cutting small bolts so not heavy work). Value at this price.

Having tried many 18v battery's I decided to give these a go. On using them they perform well and seemed well made. As all rechargeable s, life expectancy is still to be determined.

Genuine and best

Unlike their replacements these older batteries don't go flat immediately without a chance of being recharged. These weren't charged initially in one case for two weeks after receipt.

Reasonable batteries

These are original Dewalt batteries but 1 battery didn't even last 6 months so not happy, but the other battery is still going. They do last longer than the Chinese imports but of course cost more.

Good for the price

First battery was faulty but was promptly replaced without the need to return faulty unit. Good value for the price.

So far I have charged these batteries and they seem to be doing a really good job. With batteries its usually the long run that tells the story.
