Honeytone 10 watt amp
I was looking for an inexpensive small amp to use with a CBG, battery powered, portable, and this fit the bill. I don't think it's 10 watts and didn't expect it to be, its lowed enough, looks cool, and has a belt clip. I wish I could have picked the color but I like the color I got. You can also power it with a 9v 500ma adapter, but it doesn't come with one. I'd buy another oneRead full review

Not terrible, but not great.
I bought this amp to practice with at home or on the go. I mainly bought it because I liked the "retro" look. It does indeed look cool, but my main issue is that it produces A LOT of feedback (the AC adapter makes this worse) and when you hit about the 9th fret on the G string, it distorts even if overdrive is turned all the way down and volume is low. I play jazz guitar, so I don't use gain or overdrive...I like a warm clean sound and I can't get that with this amp. I give it 3 stars because it does look nice and makes my guitar louder I guess. And just to be clear, I tried it on multiple guitars...the amp is most def the problem. Read full review

Handy and Kool ...
I have been building electric guitars for a long time & it's always good to test pickups / knobs, etc. out before you bolt up everything. Handy keeping this on the bench: small, not too loud and it accepts most 9v adapters. It's nice that they include their own brand of battery ~ the powered on light in the switch is smart. I gifted my old one out to a friend and missed it ..... so I got a new one. Plus ... you can't beat the cute factor. Read full review

A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK?
I wholeheartedly agree with all the positive reviews and all, but it is not a genuine Danelectro product. Now, to be fair, it does come with an actual Danelectro battery installed in it; however, the rest of the N-10 is of a "second generation nature," in my opinion. It just so happens that I am the proud owner of two original (one yellow, never used; one aqua, slightly used) HONEYTONE Mini Amps—complete with their original boxes and owners manuals. The unique manual itself is of a booklet form printed on durable stock with the front and rear covers printed in the traditional Danelectro colors while the pages themselves were deliberately arranged with a convincing "nostalgic look" in mind. The Danelectro logo is plastered all over the box so that you know your getting the real thing—way back 1988. The most important feature that distinguishes the original N-10 from newer offering is the famous Danelectro logo —in raised letters—centered in front of the speaker grill running vertically and supported by, what I call, the "spike." In all other respects the newer model is exactly the same and, of course, comes with that same great vintage sound. An added bonus is the tiny, but official, Danelectro instrument catalog which also was thoughtfully packed in. Well, there you have it. The reviews are in. The mighty HONEYTONE Mini Amp (old or new) comes highly recommend with all its mid-century styling, color scheme and; of course, lots of "chrome" to polish up. And if you're ever fortunate to stumble upon an original one then, by all means, grab it.

Great amp!!
For the size it is a great little practice amp it great if you are on the go plus the retro look is way cool. I like the fact that it has a belt clip and that you can use a 9 volt battery when you are away from a power sourceRead full review

HoneyTone Amp for Kalimba
I use the HoneyTone for my kalimba with electronic pickup. It makes the sounds of the kalimba much richer as well as louder. I do keep the HoneyTone on a fairly low volume (maybe turned up 1/3 of the way) since the kalimba notes start buzzing when the volume is higher.Read full review

Mini Amplifier
This is one of the best sounding amplifier's for the size. The clarity and tone amazes me and it is so easy to operate and to store. Best bang for your buck. Definitely draws attention!

awesome sauce!
mini-amp works great as a travel amp, or playing early in the am when ppl are sleeping lol it fits perfectly inside my hardcase, along with my electric guitar, headphones, tuner, cables, etc. performs as expected.. dont look to be amazed at its performance lol but for practice/travel its the perfect amp. has a heavy grind for chunky metal riffs. doesnt pick up the p[inch harmonics that great, but they do come through. the clean setting is great, too, and for a tiny little fkr it really kicks pretty good! had my finacee yelling at me to "turn that fkn thing down!" so, lol, it hits pretty hard for a small little guy.. but like i said, dont expect it to put out the tones of a line 6 spider IV or a Marsall half-stack cuz it aint capable for that. it isnt designed for gigs lol so dont expect that kinda sound. but, i love this mini-amp; its my new best friend!Read full review

Really nice 2 have
This little amp is so small and portable and cute and sounds awesome. Not too loud to make neighbors raging mad, just maybe annoyed but I put headsets on to prevent that and I love it. Hearing the strings make a noise as if your ears were right on them sounds very good, I love it. It also came with a battery!! How convenient and kind. No complaints here. The loudness isn't crazy which keeps me out of trouble. Thank you.Read full review

Sounds decent but
Pretty decent, hardcore sounding amp but it kills a new 9 volt in less than an hour. At about 40 minutes in, sound starts cutting out and not picking up half of what is played. So frustrated, I bought a power cord for it and it's a different amp when plugged in! Kinda defeats the purpose of a belt clip amp though. If you imagined clipping it on and playing at the beach or a party, you can forget that. If you make it through four songs you'll be lucky. Sounds awesome plugged in but total waste of money for what I bought it for.Read full review
