The monitor is as advertised, and has a great picture after I got it going. The ebay for sale posting said nothing about required updated LP cable connections which is an important issue when retrofitting an older computer. I had to purchase a custom HDMI to DVI II to make my older video card work, and the delay cost me a few more days down time. It would have been nice to know ahead of time to coordinate delivery of the required cable.Read full review

Great monitor for photography

Bought the monitor for my wife as she continues to expand her professional photography portfolio. We can both tell a dramatic difference between the previous Dell monitor and this one. It is a difference of night and day. If you are not used to a high quality monitor then this one is going to be pretty stunning. The out of the box calibration claim by Dell was spot on.

Also it is the first monitor stand I have actually wanted to use. I didn't even bother using the VESA mount to the wall. The stand is stable and super flexible. It can rotate the monitor 90 degrees, which is really nice when you are messing with cords in a confined space.Read full review
