Great drop pedal
I bought this pedal because I have a Floyd on my guitar. It's very useful to drop the pitch really easy. Now you can't change only one string's pitch, which is unfortunate. Regardless, if you already have your guitar tuned to drop D then you get some really nice drop tunings. I have yet to notice any latency mentioned in other reviews, but that doesn't mean it isn't there, just that it's really low. Overall it's probably one of the best pitch pedals out there.Read full review

Well worth it!
This pedal is more than worth the price since I was contemplating buying a baritone guitar but now don't have to. I know it does not replace such a guitar with the extra frets, etc but it suffices for me as of now. It also eliminates the HASSLE of retuning a guitar that is set up with a Floyd Rose....Read full review

Drop tune raise joy
It does what is it designed for, lower tone, and it does it very well. Some reviews talk about latency, I can barely feel latency. The sound produced is very natural, does not sound synthetic. This is an excellent tool for guitar player who wants to keeps open strings while lowering tonality of a song.Read full review

digi tech drop review
first of all I am using this on an electric violin with the lower octave strings for the cello sound. the octave down setting works great, how ever when you try lowering the note to a semi tone or 2 lower the sound is not as good. the 3 & 4 string sound fine the 2 string is ok the 1 string sounds like there are several instruments playing at the same time. but I am keeping it for the octave down setting as it sounds pretty good . If you just pluck strings instead of bowing it sounds not too bad in fact even kind of good if the semi tone down sounded as good as the octave down it would be awsome but it dosen't so I am going to say it is ok to good ratingRead full review

Awesome.
Preserves signal integrity very well. Tracks flawlessly. Very little tone degradation - note that the lower the pitch setting is, the more the tone changes. Noiseless operation. Sturdy casing. Incredible product, great staying power as a piece of technology.Read full review

It would get 5 stars if it worked better for bass.
I teach guitar and a lot of the modern songs are in standard half step down whole step down and on and on. I like the setting that allows an octave lower than what you're actually playing along with no you're playing pretty well too. I just wish it worked a lot better on bass guitar. It seems the lower the frequency you put into the pedal the more latency it has. I'm sure they will solve this problem sooner or laterRead full review

Works great! No noticeable loss of tone or latency.
My band does 3 or 4 songs that are tuned down a half step. Much easier than bringing an extra guitar to gigs and rehearsals. Once I got mine, the other 2 guys in my band got one too. Hell John Osbourne has one on his board!Read full review

This pedal is truly terrific for doing drop tunings for Van Halen & Motley Crue! The “Octave below Mix” feature is GREAT for doing “Green Eyed Lady” & “Radar Love”. It’s great quality at an affordable price.Read full review

A must have!
I love this box! It tracks well with no glitches or artifacts. I no longer have to bring numerous guitars to gigs; 2 or sometimes 3; I used to bring 5 to cover the downtuning (I have Floyds on my guitars with D-Tunas). It's first in my chain and sits nice in my pedalboard. Highly recommended to all guitarists!Read full review
