Drops the notes just fine, tracking is another story, though...
It's fun to mess with and It does what it says, but if you drop the tuning too low, the tracking is just horrible. Fast riffs are pretty much unplayable.

Almost the same as retuning my guitar
I play metal. The difference between my Ibanez tuned in C Standard and using this Drop to bring it down from E Standard is small enough to be enjoyable.

Not good for bass guitar
Not so good for bass guitar. For some reason it has a slight reverb/chorus sound when using for bass. And it's not due to amp or PA fx.
Regular guitar no problem. Works fine. But bass guitar, not usable. So I'm back to using 2 basses. One standard E, the other Eb.Read full review
