I would give 5 stars but I’m still having trouble sharpening split bits. I bought the 100 grit diamond wheel which really helps sharpening large bits. I will recommend it to anyone.

Good device for the novice.
After reading the instructions as recommended by a U-tube video and watching the factory video, I got off to a good start. Another U-tube video presented by a person filming himself as he quickly read through the instructions totally screwed up and even took the tool apart to learn what was wrong with it. That was educational in what not to do. Once you understand how to use it properly it is simple and effective. I sharpened dozens of bits up to 1/2 inch in short order. The 750X cost a little more than the 500X due to the chuck that will hold a 3/4 inch bit,, but it is worth it. The 150 grit diamond wheel recommended for bits 1/2 inch or less. It does leave some grinding marks and is not a smooth looking as the factory grind. This does not affect the sharpness or drilling.Read full review
