Seat shifts around

It isn't quite what I was hoping for. Once I had the two 6" carriage bolts secured through the seat and on the toilet, no matter how tight I tightened the bolts on to wing nuts the seat moved shifted around on the bowl. I should have made sure the product had a lock to the bowl device. I took two small bungy cords and hooked one end to the back arm "handicap handle" and crossed it to the opposite front arm. Then repeated the same for the other side. This kept the seat from shifting on the toilet bowl.Read full review

Easy to install, lightweight, perfect height (if 5'5" or over).
Totally not suitable for anyone who has had recent surgery, or who has hip or back problems. Seat is as hard as a rock and is pure torture to sit on or to try and stand up from. It says it will support up to 300 lbs, I'm guessing that was determined by someone who was standing on it. Seat is skinny enough to start with - but add the arms and you'd better be ultra thin. This is so easy to put together and install. The handles are wide enough apart to allow for maximum comfort and sturdy enough to support a large person. Raised toilet seat

It is not comfortable. I took it off and using my 4” because the uneven seat hurts my butt. Also the arms Are too close together so not wide enough. I weigh 232. A little adjustment would allow choice of wider arm placement. I like that it is easily removed for non handicapped family users. Read full review
