9 volt battery charger

This unit and the batteries are great. I'm a guitar player and have numerous pieces of equipment that operates on 9V. Guitars, tuners, effect pedals, wireless instrument set ups. Now I always have fully charged power for it all and piece of mind knowing that it. After I have enough to power 3 times more then what I actually use, and that also rolls over to confidence that I'll always have what I need when I need it.Read full review

The Rechargeable power for a Nova XR 5000

guitar pedals

i bought 2 sets (8 batterys) and they are awesome for guitar pedals i run 4 of them in pedals with 4 of the charged and ready to go... so far they last as long as alkaline but of course they charge (i change them once a week in pedals if they need it or not) (and once per month in my bass guitar just to be safe) huge money saver not to mention much greener than boxes of alkalines ... shipper is fast and have had equal luck with AA and AAA s also... thank you from kansasRead full review

They keep on going and going

The charger and batteries are excellent. Charging four batteries at a time is extremely helpful.
I did notice that the batteries did not hold a full charge upon the first use. Knowing that could be a property of the lithium battery technology I discharged them and them recharged them and they work for days and days without a recharge. I use them in my LED displays and they are a wonderful compact and reliable power source.Read full review

Good product from good vendor

I have been using a lot of 9v batteries in my wireless microphones, and that has been a significant expense. With just a little more up-front cost than alkalines, these quickly pay for themselves. The voltage on these batteries is a bit lower than 9v, but that doesn't seem to matter in my context. I have already acquired a dozen and expect to add a few more. If you use a lot of batteries, you need to know that rechargeables - once nearly useless - are now quite good. If you go with a good brand like EBL or Eneloop, I predict you will be happy.Read full review

Cheaper than buying alkaline 9-Volt batteries every month

Just to start, be aware that this "9-Volt" battery delivers about 8.4 Volts when fully charged. Many devices will function just fine at this potential. Some gadgets may report "battery low" even when this one is fully charged.

Considering the price for a good-quality alkaline 9-Volt this rechargeable should reach the break-even on its higher cost fairly soon. The faster your device wears out a conventional 9-Volt, the sooner you'll find yourself ahead for the expense of this one.

Haven't had it long enough to see how it does in low-drain devices like the battery-backup for a clock or answering machine.

Works Great in Metal Detector

I was concerned about the lower voltage (8.2 vs. 9v), but it works great in my metal detector. With the battery four-pack, I always have a fresh set of batteries in the field. Most other chargers only support two batteries. Overall, it's a great deal for a high-quality product.
