Saved me from a new purchase
I somehow developed peeling paint and rust spots/rings on the floor of my microwave, which otherwise still worked quite well. Did some thorough research on how to refresh the surfaces and searched for the proper type and color paint. Sadly, the pure white was not available but I got the pearl white figuring it should do the job. The color was way off so I wound up spraying the entire interior for continuity--and considering the small size of the can, I was able to cover the entire inside with at least three coats and have 1/4 to 1/3 of a can left. You really need great ventilation using this product because the vapor is noxious; however, the product covers well. I think the floor of my microwave was too far gone for the surface to be smooth again, but you definitely have to look closely to see where the problem areas were. In fact, the only way you can tell the interior has been painted is by the small areas near the metal plate I taped up for protection. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase and how it is holding up.Read full review

Relatively expensive, but convenient.
Paint quality seems good, but consider that by the time any rust is removed down to the metal, proper cover up of the metal requires more paint than what is present in one can of spray. I just about made it with two full cans. So, if you need more than one can, it gets a bit pricey.

Microwave paint
Our microwave is 7 years old and had many areas where the paint had worn off in the cavity and rust was forming. Considered buying a new microwave, but since it worked perfectly, decided to re-paint the damaged areas instead. Per the instructions on the paint can, all rust needed to be removed prior to painting so considerable time was used get the rust out, then it was time to paint.
Per the warning on the paint can, adequate ventilation was needed, and let me tell you, they weren't kidding. This paint stinks! Also, caution needed to be used because it is highly flammable. I had concerns that the paint smell would linger inside the microwave, thus making any food cooked taste and smell terrible, but that wasn't the case. The paint did stink up the house, even with all windows opened when it was sprayed into the microwave nook, but it was totally dried within 12 hours, and only has a slight odor remaining.
My husband used the microwave the following morning without any problems, but I waited an additional 24 hours before I used it, just to make certain the paint had cured. The paint has held up, isn't lifting, there is no lingering odor and even better, our microwave looks great!

Works great but darker than expected
The paint was easy to apply and covered very well but I should have ordered the snow white color. I wasn't sure which one to buy and this one is darker than I expected. Since the area to cover was on the ceiling of the cavity, no one can see it. Read full review

Microwave refinish
Good product but you will need to buy 2 cans to do very much repair, or use a high quality white primer to help make it stretch. Prepping is a must, remove all loose paint, remove all rust, sand all surfaces that need painted and feather edges of repaired areas. Must be clean and dry, mask off anything you do not want painted. Paint outside if at all possible, if not, turn off power, open windows, and use a mask.Read full review

QB Products Microwave Cavity Paint
Product has been in microwave for 2 months with no issues. Fantastic product if you prep really well! ANY rust/corrosion must be taken down to bare metal and all grease residue must be removed before application. Use a Dremel to get the rust, you'll never get it all by hand. Use fine layers of paint and let dry 12 hours between recoats (I used three coats). Microwave is like new.Read full review

Save your money and invest it in a new oven.
Cleaned the inside of my microwave extra well; sanded it till it was very smooth, spray painted it with two coats for this paint. Two weeks later I was rusted out again.
