Excellent GPU for the price!

I bought this gpu as I wanted the best bang for my buck when building my first pc and I was not disappointed. I am mostly a fortnite player and paired with my i7 7700k I can keep a steady 144hz on (mostly) epic settings. My pc is an itx build so I wanted a gpu a little smaller than some of the big and bully ones out there and this one fits well and stays cool in my Phanteks evolv case. Best video card for the money, period!

I previously had an AMD HD6850 1GB and tried to play Quake Champions Beta, and it would even though it said it did not meet minimum specs. I had all settings on low and could only manage approx. 48-50FPS. With this GTX1060, it auto detected everything to high...and does so at approx. 120FPS...so HUGE difference!!! Another thing to note is you can't hear it. It is small enough to fit in most cases. Fire Strike before was 2200, now it's close to the 10k mark. There is no other card out now for this price that comes close. I highly recommend this!!Read full review

Great Graphics card for high tech or Gaming

This is the 3 gig ram model. I have this one and a 6 gig model. Both perform well, and I even learned a little about data coin Mining with the 6 gig model.
The only gaming I do is MS Flight Simulator and it is way more than enough for that.Read full review

A really good buy

It sometime happends that i ear a brief ''scratching'' noise from the PC but can't be sure it comes from the card fan but before changing it i was not earing this at all.

When running games with higher graphic settings (World Of Warships for example), fan runs consistently and is king of noisy. When playing older games (SF2, Wreckfest, etc.) running at max settings and i barely hear the fan running.

Plenty of power for my uses

I know, the GTX 1060 3gb is thought of more like a 1060 lite or a 1050 because it has fewer cores than the other GTX 1060’s, but this one does everything I need it to do, it’s quiet, oh yeah and it works. Awesome.

Great card for ultra to high 1080 but not ultra to high 4k
