Runs hot not worth full purchase price
This card runs a little better than ok. The graphics quality is really good during EVE-Online (set to max settings), Star Wars Old Republic, and Elite Dangerous on 3 24" LED screens.
I am disappointed that this card generates so much more heat (to the point that my PC is alarming) than the 2x GT 740's I use to run. I have an Antec 900 ATX case with 4x 120mm fans and 1x 200mm fan all running on high settings.
I should have gone with a GTX 1070 or 1080 (now that prices are starting to come down a bit). With the dual fans (or even the Hybrid model) these cards will dissipate heat better than the single fan cards.Read full review

Get the SC Version
im only giving 3 stars cause while this is a good buy, spend the 15 more and get the SC version, the heatsink on this one is like an intel stock. while the SC has copper pipes running through it to disperse heat.
with this one you run the risk of it thermal throttling unless you have good airflow, im able to keep it up 70 cause i have a sickleflow pulling tons of heat off of it on the side of my caseRead full review

Runs Microsoft FS 2020 fine!
I wasn’t sure if I could run the new Microsoft flight simulator 2020 with this card but it works beautifully on “high” graphics! Very happy since I bought it used. I did put a bigger power supply in my computer to handle the card though because it’s not recommended for only 350 W so I added a 600 W power supply.Read full review

Awesome card and quiet too.
The GeForce 1060 6gb used was an excellent buy. I love this card. It has enough juice in it to run my games at great frame rates.

A solid card for the inflated market
Let me start off by saying I caught this on eBay's spring sale, meaning it only ran me $300, after selling my old gpu it ran me $200...
Now that being said was it worth it?
Well, it depends on your situation... It is a solid card I would absolutely recommend in two situations only
1: are you building a new computer entirely but don't want to or can't afford to fork over the extra for a 1070?
2: are you coming from something vastly less powerful and outdated that can't handle modern games very well?
If you answered yes to any of these, this card is a solid choice, it will handle modern games well. Don't expect it to run 4k gaming on ultra settings at 60fps, it just won't happen.. it struggles to hold 60fps in kingdom come: Deliverance in 1080p, high settings.
If you aren't an elitist or aren't going for the world's most powerful build this is a solid card for the price, it will run all your games well enough, it'll power that VR headset flawlessly, it'll do what the average consumer hopes it'll do
What it will not do is blow you out of the water, what it will not do is handle anything you throw at it on ultra without dropping frames, but what it will do is handle all modern games reasonably well and it will make for a solid mid/high range build
If you want the absolute best go for a 1070 or 1080, if you just wanna game without any issues and don't want to spend $800 on a 1080 in this stupidly inflated market this is the card for youRead full review

Gpu upgrade
After experiencing lagging with GeForce GTX 950, I finally decided to upgrade to the GTX 1060 SC and I couldn’t be more happier. I was skeptical about purchasing a used GPU but I took a chance and this card is pretty impressive. The lagging is gone and the colors and texture are clearly better. Read full review
