A Great Heater!
This is a great heater. This is actually our 2nd one. We loved the 1st one so much that we decided to purchase another. It does a good job of heating our living area. It doesn't seem to increase our electric bills by much. And it's much cheaper to use than heater fuel.

My friend has the older version edenPure (same BTU) and it puts out a LOT of heat. The gen 2? Not so much... I bought the gen 2 based on the brand, and I'm not impressed at all. I think I would have been better off with a cheap ceramic heater for a lot less $.Read full review

Quiet and does the job
Purchased this to supplement heat in my cold basement (I live in Michigan). It does the job for that quite well. Not sure how the energy use will be as I have not been billed yet. I like that it is quiet. I am using it to supplement the heat in an area that is considerably larger than what the heater should heat, but since it is a supplemental heat source, it works great maintaining a comfortable temperature in the entire area. The timer option is useful and the fact that it is thermostatically controlled (digital readout, so you know what the setting actually is) is good. It was a good investment for my purposes, as otherwise it would be difficult to spend much time in my basement workshop in the winter.Read full review

For small rooms
It does an OK job of keeping the chill off, no where near as good as the last edenpure I had. It would warm you right up and lasted for many years.
