Good recorders, just power off when not in use
To have the ability to record TV programs, these PVR's are a great low cost way to do so. You need a portable hard drive or a larger capacity USB drive but they are relatively inexpensive these days. I have owned several of these devices and I have found that when it is not in use, that it is best to turn the power off. If you just leave the power on continually,, there is something about the electronics in them that causes them to stop working I have found that turning the power off keeps them working.Good recordersRead full review
