Everything about this violin is good, it is more than value for money. If you are looking for a first violin or a second violin you can't go wrong with one of these. Violin is excellent, bow is great, case is great, I would say that the rosin is O.K. too, haven't used it yet. Violin has a really good sound and is easy to play using supplied bow.When I first opened the the package I could'nt believe how good it was. I would highly recommend this violin package. Cheap is probably the only benefit

It's definitely beginner level stuff, the bow is pretty unusable with the hair touching the timber when tightened. And the bridge is rather poor. Throw another $30 into it from your local store and it's usable.Read full review

Not a real violin

It is plywood not proper violin wood, the bridge has to be installed by yourself and is not glued on the instrument as usually the case from a music store, the rosin was below average, the tuners were cracked, the strings weren't properly put through the tuning pegs and the tuning pegs weren't properly fitted for the violin so would slip out as you tried to tune them and wouldn't stay in place. The original strings they give you are low quality, they don't properly label or date the inside of the violin, the fingerboard isn't made of actual ebony wood, the colouring is badly painted on and comes off quickly, the inside of the instrument was chipped so it wasn't properly built, when looking inside the instrument you can see light through the sides of it. It is overall a disappointing and by far terrible purchase, unless you're looking for a wall ornament. Read full review

Although it took 2 days to add enough roisin to make any sound, at this price it is a great way to start learning the violin. It looks really good!

Very Flimsy, stay away.

very flimsy and thin walls, buckled legs when tightening.
Cheap it is, and that is what you will get, spend a bit more and get something sturdy, the welds look reay to snap!

Get what you pay for

Wasn’t expecting the best violin but was hoping it to at least be able to tune it! The pegs and strings are such poor quality it is impossible to tune so you can’t even play it. Total waste of money, do not buy this product. Read full review
