This movie is amazing. Sam Raimi has managed to beautifully blend slapstick comedy and horror like no one before or since. Bruce Campbell knocks it out of the park as Ash. Watching him slowly morph into the over the top 80s action hero he would become in Army Of Darkness and the later Ash vs Evil Dead series is a blast. The evil dead trilogy is simply awesome! A horror classic with plenty of charm.

It's great! One of my favorites. It is a required to already be a fan of horror and comedy. And great gore and practical effects. Although, some of it is pretty cheesy. I do prefer the 1st, though.
