Works well at removing hazing and light scuffs

Bought this as my caravan windows had developed a few scuff and abrasions from trees and hedges in narrow lanes, plus they were also generally a bit hazy. I used with trepidation as I never clean the windows other than with a hosepipe, as they are so easy to scratch.

The product is similar to T-Cut for car paint in that it's very slightly abrasive. I hosed the windows thoroughly before hand (do not use a bucket/sponge unless you have a grit guard) and then applied following the directions using a brand new cloth to ensure no grit or dust. It did a good job of removing the haze and some of the lighter scuffs, afterwards the windows looked much clearer and much shinier. It will not remove all scuffs/scratches however, but then I doubt anything would.

This bottle will probably be enough to do all the windows on a large caravan twice.

Just use tcut

This stuff is just okay, the caravan windows just had usual mild dulling from road towing and I used this product and then used a bit of normal tcut on a different window and to be honest the tcut done a better job making the windows clear and clean again.Read full review

Good product

Good quality but one time use only removes very small lines. I feel over several applications this can be changed...so 'elbow grease' required.

Would recommend this product to anyone

Our dog badly scratched the acrylic windows of our motorhome trying to get our attention as we stood chatting to someone by the van. It was a bit of a shock to see the marks as it was our first trip in our new motorhome! I found this product on Ebay and with some scepticism bought it!
To our surprise it did a first rate job. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good in lighter scratches but not on deep scratches.

I bought this on a recommendation from a friend, I used it on my caravan acrylic windows and followed instructions, but alas I don’t think it made any difference on my windows, maybe my scratches were too deep? So I was disappointed in the product, however my friend who recommended it said it was good on their windows? So maybe it’s better on small lighter scratches? So I can’t recommend it, nor not recommend it?Read full review

Fix my window.

A couple of years ago, my granddaughter, who was about three and a half at the time was standing on the seat in my caravan and looking out of the window and started wiping it with her hand. Unknown to us she had a small stone in her hand, by the time we became aware of it, it was too late. The damage was done. Scratches and gouges all over it. A replacement window was going to cost about £300. So we decided to live with the scratches. Recently I learnt it might be possible to remove the scratches and have a nice window again. So I started my research. Having discovered several products that might help, Fenwicks Window wize was the one I purchased, along with the appropriate grades of wet and dry. Then I set to work on the window. I picked the deepest scratch, and set to. After the first attack with the wet and dry, I thought, OMG! That’s B———d it completely. That part of the window was in my opinion was so badly damaged you couldn’t even see through it. What do I do? After giving it some thought,I decided to carry on with the process, after all, what have I got to lose? Only £300 quid. I completed the rubbing down bit and started with the Fenwicks. After much, and I mean much, rubbing and buffing, the window was clear and the scratch was gone and that bit of the window was like new. Was I impressed or what! I was like a dog with a bone, I couldn’t stop till all the scratches were gone. And gone they are. I now have a scratch free window. The best bit is I saved £300. It was hard work, but worth it. It cost me less than £20 for microfibre cloths, wet and dry paper and the 100ml of FENWICKS. Thank god for FENWICKS.
So to conclude, would I recommend Fenwicks window wize? You bet I would! For scratched caravan windows it’s like the elixir of life!

Excellent results on badly scratched window

Used three grades of wet & dry paper finishing with 3000 grade. Sanded scratch in straight lines first at right angles and then parallel with the scratch taking care not to press too hard. Finally used the Fenwicks on a soft cloth to restore the finish and shine. Took about 10 minutes of polishing to achieve excellent finish. Really pleased with the result.Read full review

Not as good as I hoped

It is supposed to be one of the best for caravan windows but I was not really impressed overall. I will treat them with stepped wet & dry paper in the Spring to remove faint scratches. It’s worth trying other methods because, despite the hype, this isn’t a miracle cure.Read full review
