They stick closed.

Such a good name but they do not work very well. Once used to cut they stick together, very disappointed. This makes them very difficult to use, may have to get some more from a differant manufacturer. They were cheaper than others for this model but not good value as they do are not what I expected, so not good value.Read full review

Fiskars P68 secateurs

This older model P68 is much better quality than the newer model that was introduced . I have dexterity problems and need to adjust to my own hand span. My last set lasted more than 10 years and recently broke ( spring snapped ) I was unable to get a replacement part . The older Fiskars products were made in Finland originally and I have noticed that the more recent products are made in China and the quality has significantly deteriorated. Well worth the extra price

After previously using cheaper items, I have used these for some while and bought another for a friend after she saw how good they are.

They remain sharp. cut cleanly are easy to handle, are adjustable and lock safely, and also come with a protective sheaf for safer storage.
