Good Alternative to Larger Splints

I bought this product as an alternative to the larger boot-style splint that I have been wearing for the past few months. While the boot works well, it can be cumbersome and is difficult to walk in for those middle of the night bathroom trips. I found this splint much lighter and easier to walk in. It is also easy to adjust. I did get it too tight the first night and my toes went numb, but after a short learning curve, it works well. It feels as though it does not provide quite the stretch as the boot, but the results in the morning are the same. I would recommend this splint to anyone that does not wish to wear the huge boot. Fit is loose, does not fully keep foot at proper angle through night. Velcro seems to have become worn within one month, comes undone during the night on occasion; foot simply pops out of bottom strap on others. Attempting to secure more firmly causes brace to become painful after a few hours. Works ok though - pain has mostly gone away after one month, in combination with various stretches during the day. Ok if you're looking for something cheap, but I'm thinking one of the rigid types might have been better.Read full review

Gentle, Effective All Night Stretch

This has been a great aid in helping to relieve pain and tightness in my foot and calf from Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis. Great Product

I used the exact same FUTURO product to replace a much more heavier brace prescribed by my deceased doctor. The FUTURO started to not hold tightly after three years. This new replacement is working very well. What I discovered to give this new one a longer life is TO NOT close up the top strap...just leave it though the loop. and, put it away for the day in a clean dry open area. That keeps the velcro tip strap and especially the cloth area more clingier.Read full review

Futuro night splint

Waste of money but I was not buried in it. I had to make it so tight because my toes slipped out of it and then because it was tight my feet turned red and hurt like crazy. It heading to the goodwill box. Being fair I tried a different splint that was adjustable and had issues with it as well. Someone must make a good one!Read full review

It gave me leg cramps after being in this position for 3 hours. It has to be tight to stay on through the night so I believe that’s what caused the cramps in my leg. I would try the hard splint before this one.Read full review
