Garmin Edge 1030 Plus

Garmin make great GPS products for a variety of sports, but they come at an inflated price and they are not without issues. From a week of intense mtb riding the Edge 1030 Plus is certainly a step above my previous software problematic Edge 1030, but not sure if it's as good as the Hammerhead Karoo 2 or not. From all the reports I've read, the Karoo wins by a margin. My problem was that I didn't have enough time to wait for the Karoo to be delivered and stockists in Australia are nil, except direct. As I needed a new Garmin in a hurry, this is the way I went. Still this is an exceptional product through if the software glitches from my previous 1030 don't resurface. Read full review
