Accurate and reliable.
I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 1350 six years ago and have had great success using it. At the time I purchased it it was the only brand that accurately located the location of a house I owned. As an American Red Cross disaster volunteer I use this to find my way around on the back roads of rural Missouri and Illinois. Was amazed at the completeness and the accuracy of the road map. Most of the time as a volunteer I use it in responding to floods and flash floods that often block roads. This requires finding alternate routes to get to the required location and the Garmin Nuvi 1350 proved indispensable in these circumstances. Over the six years that I have used this unit I have never had a problem with it, found the display clear and informative, easy to use, and the voice that is used is clear and easily understood. I have recently purchased four more of these units so I no longer have to move the original unit from one vehicle to another. All are proving to be just as reliable and useful.Read full review

Mostly good
For driving it did very well while I was visiting in France. The drawback is when using it in pedestrian mode. I never really got it to work right. I changed it to bicycle mode which took a longer route than walking. So that really wasn't a good fit either. So, I switched it back to driving mode when I was walking. The battery lasted about 1 - 2 hours while in use.Read full review

In regard to Garmin it is a nice toy, I mainly use it for orientation, speed, elevation, and timing to a destination

Sometimes it is a pain in the ass when trying to type in a word. I have to make sure it responds to my finger.
The speed function is really nice since some of speedometers are off .i.e my VW Passat and BMW K1200LT which reads high. And if you have a vehicle with (I think) larger tires will read a lower speed. It also has the a posted speed limit in your position which is nice for me. I have two. I was also told by Garmin the map layout of the map, colors, etc. may be different for each unit. I just the visual presentation of the 1350.Read full review

nuvi 1350 LMT
Overall, a very good value. Reliable, reasonably fast, and has a useful traffic feature that works in certain areas. So far, happy with selection.

Nuvi 1350
This is a replacement for an earlier Garmin Nuvi 1350 that I had for around 7 years. I liked it and bought another one, my only complaint is with Garmin. They no longer support this model and when this one does eventually fails in about 7-10 years, will have to upgrade, oh well. Read full review

the cable is good.
Pros, has the traffic cable.
Cons, it only has the Canada maps on it. US roads are sketchy at best.
