This Gentex-453 made a very nice replacement for the factory rear view mirror in my son's 2018 Honda Civic. The unit purchased was a v4 Gentex-453 with HomeLink and works with a rolling-code garage door opener. The 2018 Honda Civic did not come with HomeLink, so this rear view mirror is a great upgrade. The connector, cable, and a new cable cover were included. The connector is needed in order to wire in the rear view mirror and replace the existing connector. Great value for the DIY enthusiast

This model of mirror is generally cheap because it's an older unit with orange compass, but it still have all of the ability of the newer models. The only issue I had was I needed to purchase a homelink repeater to get the garage door opener to work (an extra $30), but in all I'm still under $120 for everything shipped (with new wire harness). In all I'm happy with the purchase and will upgrade to the next model higher when they come down in price.Read full review

Self dimming mirror is a great update for a 2015 Rav4

This mirror fit my 2015 Rav4 with no issues. Found how to wire it off the internet and ran a wire down the left windshield trim down to the fuse panel. Mine comes on with the key so no one could break in, if the car was parked outside, and open my garage door. Great upgrade to this vehicle.Read full review

Good unit and just cause it says nissan doesnt mean it wont work in any car , the mount of the mirror it self is the specif car. check mount before

I used this one for my chevy camaro and it works fine. I did have to do some power wiring to the spot and i had to obtain a new window style mount , since my camaro has a built in mirror mount above the window adn this unit was for a nissam which used a window mount. Read full review
