Giantz 65cc 3 Extension Pole Chainsaw

Received my pole chainsaw within the specified time.

On inspection the motor is way better than I was expecting, and the all parts were well packaged for transport.

Assembly of the chainsaw attachment took a little while but was very easy if you follow the instructions.

The extension poles can be a bit difficult to join together but there is a clip that must be freed otherwise it will not clip in to the hole.
The poles once joined together have some rotational movement which makes it difficult
At full extension due to weight and rotation to line up a cut.

I tried a cut one extension pole at a time and found one to two poles attached though it got heavier(obviously) was easy to manage and cut perfectly. Adding the 3rd extension and allowing for the angle you need to hold the unit for safety reasons ( all played out in the manual) was considerably harder to manage. This is not the fault of the unit it is just weight and good old gravity that makes it heavy. With all poles attached it again cut perfectly.

While I am not a gardening person this pole chainsaw will keep me safely on the ground and allow me to cut those high branches safely.

Very cheap quality and leaks fuel

I purchased this pole chainsaw because of it's price tag. I wasn't going to use it often so I couldn't justify spending more money.

It certain is cheap quality with cheap materials. I am certain it won't last long especially if I store it in my shed. I feel by a year or two rusting will kill it. I also feel nervous using it because of the quality. I should have invested more in getting something reasonable to feel safe.

Also after a day I started smelling has in my shed. Turns out the seals are not good enough and oil and petrol leaks out. For now I positioned in such that fuel does come up to that level but WTH?!

If I could return I would but seems like too much hastle. I recommend not going cheap and buying something better built. Especial for dangerous tools like chainsaw it is not smart to go cheap.Read full review

The worst quality I have ever seen.

The engine is very powerful. However, quality of product is the worst.
When I am using this chainsaw, every 5 minute, I have to re-tighten all the blots and screws to make sure that working properly. It really interrupts me and delays working time.
There is also problem with chainsaw cover that holds the chainsaw when it's working. However, the chainsaw cover is totally insecure and it loosens very quickly. I think that this can cause very serious safety issues, if chainsaw bounce off from the machine.
I am very happy with customer services but, the product is terrible quality.

Poor Quality Control

Hey they are priced right but the build quality is poor. Things rattle of the throttle control slides up and down the shaft but it does cut well. Overall it does the job but you will need to go over all the screws every time to make sure they don't fall out during use.Read full review

This machine is great value for the home gardener to carry out the odd trimming of branches, etc.

The machine is easy to use & makes light work of branches up to 100 mm in diam. It does however, become heavy & slightly unwieldy with 2 or more extensions in use. I have used it tidy up around my garden, trimmed up a palm tree for my daughter, and cleared along a fence line for my son.
I found that the ignition wires easily caught on clothing, pulled apart & the engine would stop. This was easily fixed by putting a small length of heat shrink over the connections. No more problems.
