Value for money

You get what you pay for I guess. It would not start from new and I traced the fault to a dodgy kill switch . Once bypassed it started and ran ok . Mechanical seal leaked on the drive but that was not a problem . It pumped very well and did the work I needed it to do very quickly . So happy in the long run . Read full review

Not for fire fighting

I would not recommend as a fire fighting pump, pull start mechanism failed after just 4 starts was able to put it back together but it will fail again which will be an issue in an emergency situation, it also needs to be manually primed after each start that also will be a concern in an emergency.

True value!???

I had been operating a 26 hp twin cylinder Lister driving a 3 inch pump. I was using 25 gallons of diesel per week. I had need to do major overhaul so purchased "cheapy" as standby for emergency.
