Takes a few weeks to work, but the results are gradual and effective. The chemical smell is a bit much and it takes at least a full can, used daily, before the results are visible. Blends the grey so the color is more consistent. I did find it slightly irritating to the skin if it gets on your face, so be attentive. Overall, this is a better option to coloring your hair to eliminate the grey. It's a gradual change that isn't apparent, although it can take 3-4 weeks to really show results, then you can go to 3 days a week for maintenance. I will buy again.Read full review

Not really working

I have used this product for many years, I am 78 years without grey hair and although my hair has always been fine I am sure this product not only keeps the grey away but also thickens the hair

A solid product

This stuff does what it promises. Gradually darkens hair. Works best if you use a no-residue shampoo like Neutrogena and don't use conditioner before treating hair. Follow the instructions and don't rub this stuff into your scalp. You don't want exposure to lead. I use plastic gloves to avoid staining fingernails.Read full review

I ordered the Grecian Plus for my wife and she is extremely pleased with the hair color foam. She found it easy to apply and the result has been fully balanced hair coloring.

Works exactly as advertised!

This foam works far better than the newer Grecian Formula, which I saw no results from! After a week you will see gradual darkening of the hair. After 2 weeks of daily use (one bottle) I can use it once a week to maintain the color, which is very natural looking and not the over-dyed deep color that most mens' hair color leave you with. I recommend at least two bottle to start so you don't run out and have to wait a week for delivery while your hair goes back to gray and you have to start over! The second bottle will last me almost two months with weekly use.

I'm glad I can still get this product online! It was discontinued in some markets due to its lead content. The foam was created to reduce the risk of children ingesting it and reduce scalp exposure. There is plenty of independent research that proved this product completely safe when used properly. Some countries are being understandably cautious and banning any products with lead content. I'm not so sure how much grey this takes out, but it does seem to help a bit and it is really a good mousse and controls me well.
