This item works 100℅ perfect. All I needed was a USB charger to power it up. Needed only the power source as the other required cables are included. Running ps2 on my modern 32 in TV now through usb . simple set up and has diagram if your a bit of dummy with these things. If you want a guaranteed to work item, this is it. Easily the most useless gadget you'll ever buy
This does not enhance visuals on your nintendo Wii, it simply is supposed to be used for only those people whose TVs do not support AVI!
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE TEXT UPSCALES TO 1080P! ITS BS!<br>It does upscale but it only makes it bigger not clearer at all and when I say bigger I mean it looks even more fuzzier!

Nice product, but didnt work with my Wii

I bought this to resurrect my old Nintendo (NES) that has been sitting around for years and get it connected to my 4k TV. Although I have emulators and the NES Classic Mini, there's something special about playing in the original console. Although my future plan is to get a CRT TV, it's nice to have the option to play it on our main TV as well. That's when this product comes in.
So I connected the AV cables that go on the side of my NES, connected them into the adapter's input and connected the TV HDMI cable to the adapter's output. At first, the image came on, but it was heavily off-centered, with the right portion of the NES image off-screen. I disconnected the AV plugs from the adapter a couple of times and that was it, the image came alive, perfectly centered and off I went playing Super Mario Bros. It's simply an image upscaler, so don't expect impossible magic and things to turn crisp-clear HD, you want the emulator or mini for that purpose. But the image was as good as the original but big. Very little distortions here and there, nothing that hindered my absolute enjoyment and the satisfaction of connecting a 30-year console to a brand new modern TV. I loved it.
In short, the product is definitely a yes for me and I recommend it 100%. Remember, if it doesn't work right away, try a few things such as connecting again your AV cables and it will work as intended eventually.Read full review

Very bad picture quality! It is to slow to render the picture.
For still pictures the picture quality is excellent. But on motion picture, or just for your old Commodore C64 the picture quality is just to lousy. It it not fast enough to render the picture so it makes a very bad and noisy picture on every pixel that moves. It makes it really useless...Read full review

Works somehow, but seems to have problems at least with NES PAL version.
I bought this product to connect retro consoles to video capture device's HDMI input. Colors were messed up with NES PAL. I guess it didn't identify signal as PAL signal. NES NTSC worked ok.
